The Vickers Vimy was first aeroplane to fly non stop across the Atlantic in 1919. This particular Vimy is in the Graham White Hanger of the Royal Air Force Museum at Hendon.
The Royal Air Force Museum has two main public access locations; this one at Hendon and a second at Royal Air Force Cosford. Both are very well worth a visit.
If you have any experience of this Vickers Vimy, as an engineer, air crew, designer, builder, anything, any anecdotes or information on this Vimy, or any other aeroplane, which you would like to see published here, please drop me a note. Thank you.
