Welcome to the home page of the Digital Imaging & Photoshop Experts Group, a new East Anglian based group for photographers.
The Digital Imaging & Photoshop Experts Group grew from the Watton and District Photographic Society which was created by Jean de Roeck, back in the spring of 2009, but did not really get under way until she roped in her husband to help, in June of that year.
Watton & District Photographic Society has gone through several painful transitions, but following important changes in January of 2010, it now caters mostly for beginners.
The Digital Imaging & Photoshop Experts Group emerged as a re-invigorated photographic society, dedicated to the requirements of intermediate and expert imaging students and professionals.
Anyone may apply for membership though membership is strictly limited to a maximum of twelve local members. Membership is not automatic and prospective members will be required to submit a portfolio of work with their application. You can see the submission requirements here.
Membership of the Digital Imaging & Photoshop Experts Group gives you an opportunity to attend regular informal discussion and social evenings for which members are encouraged to submit a portfolio of images for scrutiny and analytical criticism by other members.
